Using an IR led array and some reflective tape, you can track fingers in thin air using the Wii Remote by Johnny Chung Lee, Carnegie Mellon University. This is my first roomba hacking.
I can say it is a kind of warning for the society taken over by robots. It is a noble challenge to take the human job back from the robots.
In short, I changed my wonderful roomba into an ordinary dull vacuum cleaner using a remote controller of Wii :-)
